Chase plugs into a wall outlet (or a 65W+ USB-C power bank), so there is no battery to buy. Original and Plus run on a rechargeable LiPo battery. See the Original battery buying guide and the Plus battery buying guide.
No. Place the drive unit and pulleys, push in the stakes, run the line and clip on a flag lure. The first setup takes a few minutes, and the free app walks you through starting play.
SwiftPaws kits have multiple built-in safety features: timed play sessions, a safety stall that stops the motor if your dog grabs the line, and anchoring that lets pulleys move out of the way if your dog runs into them. The pulleys and drive unit are also enclosed, so the spinning wheel is never fully exposed. Pets will not stop on their own, so it is a supervised, play-together activity.
Pounce is built for indoor cats and small dogs. Chase works indoors or in a small yard. Original and Plus are made for backyards and larger open spaces.
Every kit is backed by 30-day returns and a 1-year warranty, with repairs and replacements handled at cost for the life of your kit.
